Lou was a blast DJ for our wedding! He read right into what our guests were into and kept them on the dance floor all... night. It's been almost 2 weeks ago and people are still talking about how much fun they had dancing. We couldn't imagine having anyone else do our music! Also, Lou jumped in when we didn't quite know what to do to direct people to eat and told us when it was a good time to cut the cake. We had no idea on those things so it was also really great to have someone with so much wedding and event experience guide us through the unknown spaces throughout the evening. Lou was amazing. I haven't stopped hearing about how much fun our DJ was since our big day. The DJ was the vendor I was... most nervous about booking, and he made it such an easy and laid back experience. He made sure the dance floor was always full of people and was very receptive to requests and no play songs/artists/genres. His set up was very aesthetically pleasing and did not feel out of place or like an eyesore during our ceremony and turned into party central for the reception. I would 100% recommend him for any of your DJ needs.read more

Outstanding experience!!! Lou truly went above and beyond for our wedding. We used his services for both the ceremony... and reception and it was absolutely worth it! He was an incredibly easy vendor to work with, was super responsive and has a seamless process! And his booth/set up was amazing! It was so cool, clean and professional without distracting from the rest of our decor. Lou thought of all the little things for us, answered all our questions, gave great suggestions and made our wedding day perfect! Lou absolutely killed it at our wedding. We didn’t want the typical wedding songs you would usually hear at a... wedding...we were looking for something VERY specific. He was incredibly patient and accommodating with me as I sent him probably over 50 songs as sort of a “inspiration list” for him to go off of. I’m so glad I trusted him to do my wedding....he played my favorite songs from my list (didn’t miss a single one) and added a bunch of other music that was exactly on par with what I was looking for. When the dance started, it was just me and my one other friend on the dance floor, after about 15 minutes the floor was full and stayed full the entire night. The night went SO FAST and Lou played probably the biggest role in helping achieve the vibes I was looking for at my reception. He has so much fun while he’s DJing too...and it just adds to the overall feel of the dance - everyone was feeling the music. I highly highly recommend Lou...he knows how to throw a party, he’s kind and fun, he’s accommodating, and goes out of his way to make sure you have the reception you want. Lou was the BEST! He DJ'd for our wedding this past September. He was personable, friendly and a great communicator. He... made it so easy to talk to him about our wedding day. From our intro. conversation, to quick texts back and forth on a few song choices, etc. He had amazing lighting, a great setup and brought a great vibe to the dance floor! We had Lou setup for our cocktail hour, reception, and late night after party. We also had a cocktail hour singer and a live band. Through all of that, Lou was super in working with the singer to get his music setup, provided a microphone for him, and was very flexible on where we needed him to setup. We had special requests for specific songs that we provided him - he played no problem! We also had two songs in our after party that people karaoke'd to and he went with the flow. DJ Lou is truly a great guy and entertainment professional - bringing great music, good vibes, and a whole lot of fun! Thank you Lou for helping make our wedding day the best.day.ever. Dj Scarecrow was perfect for our event, not only is he 100% professional, his equipment, time arrived, set-up etc. he... also was so personable and easy to talk with. I wanted to extend a big, big thanks to Lou Ruiz who was our DJ. Lou was incredibly patient with us and really asked... very little from us in the way of planning. He sent us an easy-to-fill-out sheet where we rated genres of music on a scale from 1-10 and then asked us for first dance songs, etc. Beyond that, he did everything else and he did NOT disappoint! The music was so so so dang fun and there was a great mix of all types of music. He must have been monitoring the crowd because there never seemed to be a dull moment on the packed dance floor. Lou is the man and he planned some really awesome stuff for us. He introduced all bridesmaids and groomsmen, as well as everyone who gave a speech. He also planned some really fun stuff, such as the Soul Train, which we didn't even know about but are so glad we found out about. Don't hesitate to contact him!
